My First Dance I went to a dance ready to jump and jive. The band was swing'n and really jam'n live.
Salsa, cha cha, mambo, rumba and swing
This guy said, "Come on... Let me show you how."
He didn't answer... He just started to dance.
He spun me so fast that I thought that I had crapped.
I wanted to quit and sit back down
That's when somebody's elbow hit me in the head.
Then someone stepped on my toes and I almost fell.
The dancers all around were jumping to the beat
My partner turned me and swung me wide.
Finally... the music ended...you'd think that I'd be glad
...but please don't feel sorry or think that I feel bad
